BEST POTTY EVER, especially for big/husky kids May 7, 2006 Reviewer:  S. Farris "SuperMommy" Real Name (Rural Oklahoma)  See all my reviews >

After buying 2 potty chairs that were way too small for my big 2 year old to even sit on, I decided I would wait until I found one online that was big and stable enough to hold a 3&1/2 foot, 50 lb toddler. This is it!! It has ample seating room, and is virtually un-tippable. My son loves the toilet paper and toy compartments on the sides. It is attractive, and doubles as a step stool with the lid closed (holds up to 300 lbs, even my 80 lb 6 year old and I can both use it!)
Thank you once again, Target!!

The best potty chair for big toddlers August 4, 2006 Reviewer:  Mom in Fullerton See all my reviews >

My son is 3 years old and 40 pounds. He is terrified of the big toilet and all the other potty chairs are too small for him. Potty training WAS a NIGHTMARE!! Thanks to his Big Brother he is afraid of falling into the regular toilet. We tried those little seats that go on top of the toilet and a step stool in front (to be able to put his feet down securely) but that didn't help. He cried and cried that it was "too scary" every time we tried to sit him in the toilet. Then we tried a small potty chair, but they are not made for a tall 40 pound kid. He didn't seem to fit on it and was not comfortable. I saw this at Target one day and noticed all of the other things it could be used for. I thought if he didn't like it at least he could use it as a step stool, I could sit on it while I was giving him a bath (since it is strong enough to hold an adult) and it has a cool drawer on each side that he can keep his bath toys. Well... to my surprise after a couple weeks of asking him if he wanted to try it he agreed. Now, every morning he tells me he has to go and occationally during the day. My mom also bought one for her house so he can use it there too. It is wonderful!! It's pretty cool looking too!! And thankfully we are on our way to no more diapers and just in time cuz he barely fits the size 6 :)

Perfect for older potty trainee's June 26, 2006 Reviewer:  rshop2 "roger" (Milwaukee, WI)  See all my reviews >

This is not your typical potty chair. It's larger than most and the amount of seat space is perfect for an older trainee. My 3 1/2 year old daughter is having a hard time training. She's hated every chair I've ever bought. This is the only chair she's agreed to sit on. I think it's because it has many bells and whistles. She loves that it has a lid she can put down when she's done. She also loves that you can hang toilet paper in a special compartment.(it unrolls just like the real thing) There is a second compartment perfect for special potty books and toys. It's very easy to pull out the tray for disposal. It's stylish enough to put in any room you need it in. My friends didn't realize it was a potty chair. This would be a great potty for camping or in the minivan.

Maybe for LITTLE girls... October 19, 2006 Reviewer:  Mom for Meg and Mike "MMM" (St Paul, MN)  See all my reviews >

I bought this potty at target and thought it was a really great idea - I just read some of the other reviews and I don't agree. This is one of the smallest potties I have ever seen! My daughter is about 22 months and she fits on it nicely, but my older son, who is 3, can barely sit on it. He's knees are at his chin and there is no way to make sure he is 'pointed in the right direction!'. So - for my little girl, it is cute, but it is probably only good for kids up to 2 1/2 years. i will have to get another one if my daughter doesn't get trained soon.

Not for Boys October 31, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of 2 "Leia" (IGH, MN)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I looked at this potty at [.....] and decided against it for our son due to the small toilet opening. We took it out of the box and it was significantly smaller than others, definitely not big enough for boys to be able to complete both body functions without scooting themselves back on the seat.

We decided on the Graco Soft Seat Trainer Potty Chair instead. Had good reviews and had the largest opening, slightly bigger than BabyBjorn's standard potty chair. Its lid flips down to be a step stool and has the same rubber shield that flips down to close the lid. A plus was that the shield stays on the seat, whereas on the Boon, it comes out with the basin to be emptied. It did slide under the Boon's frame on the way out, but to put it back in you'd have to touch it. At least it'd be clean then, right? Another plus with the Graco is that the seat can be used separately on the toilet itself. Only drawback is that the step stool is weight rated for kids, not 300lbs like the Boon. But I'll take that over cleaning up my son's messes.

so cool October 3, 2008 Reviewer:  trish (ohio)  See all my reviews >

this is a really cool potty. it is not very practical for our house because it is so big and our bathroom is pretty small. so thumbs up for the potty itself, i wish it would actually fit in our bathroom.

Love this potty! July 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Mommy Dallas (Texas)  See all my reviews >

My daughter just turned 2 and is using this potty. She really likes it. It is easy to clean too. We use the storage on the side for her books so she always has them in the bathroom with her.

A great potty to keep in the back of the car June 5, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Harp Real Name (Austin, Texas USA)  See all my reviews >

My daughter loves this potty - we keep it in the back of our suburban and she thinks it is really neat. She prefers to use the "car potty." It is perfect for on the go potty training since it has storage on each side of the potty. We keep wipes and bags on one side, and toilet paper and sanitizer on the other. The lid helps keep everything in the potty when you are driving. You have to be careful how you position your child on the potty - they have to be perfectly over the opening or they will make a mess and miss the hole. If the opening were a bit larger I would give it a 5th star.

love it January 7, 2008 Reviewer:  bethany (mn)  See all my reviews >

I bought this potty for my daughter when she was 12 months and she is now 24 months and using it just fine. I love the fact that she can pull it up to the sink and wash her hands. Also love the fact that I can sit on the bench while bathing her. This was an excellent purchase.

Cute but not functional September 27, 2007 Reviewer:  C. Leinart Real Name (Dallas, TX United States)  See all my reviews >

The opening is too small...my 2 year old is 75%-ile in height and weight and cannot 'fit' on this potty. Let's just say it becomes a big mess when his rear-end does not fully fit over the hole. Cute idea but i'm afraid the form did not follow the function on this one.
